9. DEVELOP POLICIES FOR FOOD AND FEEDING.

Write policies that promote safe healthy food and good feeding practices. Use the good practices in this document in your policies.  Share your food and feeding related policies with staff and families.

• Written policies and procedures respecting food and drink to be given to children are required  

GOOD PRACTICES: 

• Let parents and staff know about your food policies for birthdays and celebrations.
• Review and update your policies regularly.
