Let's Make Maracas

materials:

• plastic containers with lid (screw top is best)
• rice, beans, sand, lentils (use different fillings for different sounds)
• strong tape
• ribbon decorations

how to:

1. Fill plastic container a third full with one of the above fillings.

2. Tape firmly.

3. Decorate and shake.
