How to Play
  1. Fill one bucket up with water, and have another bucket a distance away that is empty.
  2. Place the Sponge Fish in the bucket with water.
  3. Have the children scoop the fish out of the water with a small aquarium fishing net and place them in the empty bucket.
Change it up / Alternatives / Additional Options
  • For children with impairments in flexibility or gross motor skills, ensure the bucket of water is placed in a location that they can access, such as on a low table to minimise the distance.
  • If you have a child with another type of disability not mentioned above, they may be able to participate in this activity without adaptations or modifications.
